The poachers
Poachers can be poor locals, but more often than not they are members of militia groups. Below are three groups which have been confirmed as illegal wildlife killers.
After selling the ivory,
they use the profit to fund terrorism.
The Uganda Government troops, South Sudan Government troops and Congo Government troops have also been confirmed as highly involved in the illegal ivory trade.
The illegal wildlife trade is annually worth more than
19 billion US dollars.
The Western Black Rhino was declared extinct in 2013.
Don't let this happen to the elephants as well.
